Lifetime Limited Warranty
American Woodmark™ hereby warrants to the original purchaser, for residential applications only, that all Designer's Choice cabinets and accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty runs for as long as you own your home and begins upon the date of delivery to you. This warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of the defective part at the discretion of American Woodmark, and does not include labor for removal or replacement. This warranty does not extend to defects caused by improper handling, storage, installation, assembly or disassembly, intentional damage, product modifications, exposure to the elements including humidity which may result in warping or splitting, accidental misuse, abuse or negligence.

Natural woods may vary in texture, color and wood grain, and exhibit subtle changes as they age. For example, wood joints may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original color and/or to warp, split or crack. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS
AMERICAN WOODMARK MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE SET FORTH HEREIN AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD. THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE LIMITED TO THE FIRST AND ORIGINAL BUYER AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE THEREAFTER. IN NO EVENT SHALL AMERICAN WOODMARK BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO THE PURCHASER OR TO ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES ARISING FROM PERSONAL INJURY, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF PROPERTY, ECONOMIC LOSSES, OR STATUTORY OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER FROM NEGLIGENCE, WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

CLAIMS
All claims for defective cabinets and accessories must be submitted to American Woodmark in writing and must specify the defects present in the cabinets and accessories. After American Woodmark has had an opportunity to inspect the cabinets and accessories, they will, at their discretion, either replace defective cabinets and accessories or repair any defects in the cabinets and accessories. Por el presente, American Woodmark™ garantiza al comprador original, sólo para aplicaciones residenciales, que todos los gabinetes y accesorios Designer's Choice no poseen defectos en sus materiales ni en su fabricación. Esta garantía tendrá validez siempre que usted sea propietario de su hogar y entra en vigencia a partir de la fecha de la entrega en su domicilio. Esta garantía se limita expresamente a la reparación o el reemplazo de la parte defectuosa a discreción de American Woodmark, y no incluye mano de obra para extracción o reemplazo. Esta garantía no se extiende a los defectos que se produzcan por manipulación, almacenamiento, instalación, ensamblaje o desmontaje inadecuado, daño intencional, modificaciones del producto, exposición a diversos elementos como la humedad, lo que puede traer como consecuencia torceduras o grietas, mal uso accidental, abuso o negligencia.

Las maderas Naturales pueden variar de textura, color y vetas; y exhibir sutiles modificaciones con los años. Por ejemplo, las uniones de la madera pueden terminar con grietas notorias alrededor del área de unión y los colores del gabinete pueden oscurecerse o aclararse con el tiempo. El sol, el humo, la humedad, los limpiadores domésticos y otras condiciones ambientales pueden provocar la modificación del color original de los materiales y/ o torceduras, roturas o grietas. Estas variaciones se consideran de Naturaleza del material con relación a su exposición ambiental y, por lo tanto, no están cubiertas en la garantía.

LIMITACIONES Y RENUNCIAS DE RESPONSABILIDAD ADICIONALES
AMERICAN WOODMARK NO PRESENTA NINGUNA OTRA GARANTIA QUE NO ESTE ESPECIFICADA EN ESTE DOCUMENTO Y TODAS LAS DEMAS GARANTIAS ESTAN EXIMIDAS POR MEDIO DEL PRESENTE DOCUMENTO. LAS GARANTIAS IMPLICITAS DE COMERCIALIZACION E IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPOSITO EN PARTICULAR ESTAN LIMITADAS HASTA LA DURACION DEL PERIODO DE LA GARANTIA LIMITADA. LAS GARANTIAS LIMITADAS QUE SE ESTABLECEN EN ESTE DOCUMENTO ESTAN LIMITADAS AL PRIMER COMPRADOR ORIGINAL Y, EN ADELANTE, NO SON TRANSFERIBLES. EN NINGUN CASO, AMERICAN WOODMARK SERA RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS INCIDENTALES O SECUNDARIOS AL COMPRADOR O A TERCEROS, INCLUIDOS, SIN LIMITACION, DAÑOS PROVOCADOS POR LESIONES PERSONALES, BENEFICIOS PERDIDOS, PERDIDA DE OPORTUNIDADES COMERCIALES, PERDIDA DE PROPIEDAD, PERDIDAS ECONOMICAS O DAÑOS LEGALES O PUNITIVOS, YA SEA POR NEGLIGENCIA, GARANTIA, RESPONSABILIDAD ESTRICTA U OTRA COSA. Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o limitación de daños incidentales o secundarios o limitaciones en la vigencia de una garantía implícita, de manera que las limitaciones y exclusiones anteriores podrían no aplicarse a su caso. RECLAMACIONES
Todas las reclamaciones por gabinetes y accesorios defectuosos deben presentarse a American Woodmark por escrito y deben especificar los defectos que presentan estos gabinetes y accesorios. Luego de que American Woodmark haya podido inspeccionar los gabinetes y accesorios, a su discreción, reemplazará estos gabinetes y accesorios defectuosos o reparará los defectos que encuentre en los mismos.
